Being an educational technology specialist in the 21st Century means having a portal to keep it all together. A jumping off point if you will of all the different tools, sites, and experiences I have been a part of as an educator. This site is meant to be just that. A place for you to browse and find out more about who I am as an educator, presenter, and consultant. Currently I live and work from Shanghai, China. Right now all eyes seem to be focused on China as it tries to find where it fits in a new connected flat world. Education is in a similar place, dealing with an influx of technology hardware over the past ten years and now wrestling with how this hardware can really impact the teaching and learning environment. I truly believe we are at a cross roads in education and I am excited to be a part of it!
Originally from Spokane, Washington, my wife and I ventured overseas in 2002. First stopping in Saudi Arabia before transitioning to Shanghai in 2005, and now Bangkok in 2008. We love to travel and in this new connected age the place where you make your home can be anywhere there is a connection. Our plans for the future are fluid. We plan on continuing to travel the world, working and living in new countries, and enjoying this amazing world we are all a part of.
