XOMO produces Mobile Social Experience software, allowing people to capture and share experiences on their mobile device.
This software represents an evolution from User Generated Content (UGC) to real-time User Generated Experiences (UGX), where a person uses their location aware smart phone to capture and share a holistic group of digital assets direct from the point of experience.

Jeff was hired on contract by Bell Web Solutions to lead the creation of the "Games-Time" Strategy for vancouver2010.com, the official website of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. This website is expected to be one of the busiest in the world in early 2010, serving over a billion page views to tens of millions of visitors worldwide. Jeff led a team that conducted a wide range of interviews and focus groups with end users, industry experts and internal stakeholders. He also completed a competitive analysis and created the unique positioning for the website. Working closely with the web team at VANOC, Jeff then developed more than 20 strategic initiatives that will be key to the success of the vancouver2010.com website at Games Time.

The Level produces world class Enterprise Web Content Management Software. This product powers mission critical and multi-site web applications for clients including Google, Bell Canada, Coast Hotels & Resorts, Rogers Retail, and top 5 accounting firm Grant Thornton LLP. Since 2005, Google has relied on The Level’s software to manage content for its popular websites, including Google.com and over 100 locales in many languages worldwide.
Jeff led the strategic direction of the Company and, without any external financing, the company grew rapidly while maintaining profitability. In 2007, The Level was named one of BC’s hottest private IT companies poised for significant growth in the ‘Ready to Rocket 25’.

Shortly after The Level was founded, Jeff was brought on to take the company’s CMS technology to market. During this start-up phase, he contributed in many capacities. An accomplished solutions architect, Jeff envisioned compelling online experiences for clients and devised creative technical solutions that delivered real business value. Jeff also led sales and strategic partnership initiatives and was responsible for securing and retaining key accounts. Jeff negotiated the first contract with Google, which has generated millions of dollars, and was responsible for securing a deal with Bell Canada to deliver The Level’s CMS for the official website of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.
At various times, Jeff was also responsible for project management (utilizing Agile methodology), finance, legal, office management and human resources functions. He was responsible for implementing the “consultative selling” methodology and creating a sales commission structure.

Since 1995, Stockgroup has been enabling companies to provide real-time financial data and news combined with innovative tools to customers, investors, and employees.
When Stockgroup purchased the StockHouse sites in June 2002, Jeff was the only executive to be retained and was given the tasks of integrating the sites into existing business units and rebuilding the advertising sales team. The site now contributes significantly to the success of Stockgroup’s financial tools products and online ad revenue has exceeded annual growth projections.

Jeff was responsible for managing StockHouse.com, an international network of financial websites with 450,000 registered members receiving more than 100 million page views per month. Jeff led a team of product managers and various creative and technical professionals. One of his greatest accomplishments, Jeff spearheaded the launch of a completely redesigned network of seven international StockHouse websites early in 2001 and managing a team of 25 web designers and programmers. Jeff also contributed to creating a sophisticated email delivery system, the roll out a range of premium services and an innovative online news broadcasting program.
