Graduating from university, my primary goal was to work in writing code for operating systems. I started work at IBM in 1989 for OS/2. Within a few years, I was disappointed with how things were going so I moved to Citrix in early 1993. This turned out to be a great job with some very challenging aspects.
I worked with Citrix when it was less than 50 people. We worked well as a team and we were ambitious. I was still doing operating system work but started to explore other options like TCP/IP and the Internet. In 1994 I helped Citrix win the Networld Interop award by creating our first Internet client to WinView. This work was later transferred to WinFrame.
I left Citrix in 1997 to move to Australia. For two years I worked with a local reseller of Citrix. After this, I re-joined Citrix in Australia. I have worked on a number of projects since 1999 including ICA Client Object, Secure Gateway, and Application Isolation Environment (AIE). I have always enjoyed working on new projects and this fits well being part the of Advanced Products group.
