As well, I’ve been given unique opportunities to stretch beyond a typical test role. Not only did I produce and design new tools for asset testing, in-game monitoring, and data-mining, I was also charged with co-producing an outward facing Microsoft podcast at http://PlatformBiased.com. This was a more traditional Producer role, involved in budgeting, scheduling, cross-group collaboration, working with 3rd party groups, legal, marketing etc. This work was some of the most rewarding of my career.

+ Co-Produced and co-hosted the Platform Biased games-insider podcast at http://platformbiased.com
+ Booked internal and 3rd party guests, worked with legal and marketing and collaborated with all functional groups within MGS to drive content and interviews
+ Produced and drove development of multiple data-mining tools to accelerate testing of key audio features in Fable II by over 300%, including a tool to test over 50,000 lines of dialogue in 3 days
LEADERSHIP
+ As single Player Test Lead for Gears of War, directed the testing of the entire single player campaign. Produced tools and specified automation needs and drove them to completion
PUBLIC SPEAKING
+ Created proposal and accepted as a speaker for the March 2009 Game Developers Conference
+ Produced and presented 3 training presentations to mentor other testers on new methods and tools for testing audio
