Graduated from Fanshawe in London, Ontario in 2003. After graduation I Worked 5 years in technical service industry working with companies like T-Mobile and Hewlett Packard. Those five years were split up by a year in Banff Alberta where I worked at the Sunshine Village ski resort as a Groups Coordinator. (Basically I cranked skiis all day, looking back the experience felt like one long ski school movie)
I began blogging in 2005 by starting my own website called "ThrowawayyourTV.com" It became quite successful as I got mentions in the Wall Street Journal, Globe and Mail Canada and Guardian UK. I simply presented clips that I found online, I promised my viewers their moving picture would be enhanced when done within the social web.
In 2006 I signed my first freelancing contract with Netscape.com, which has evolved into Propeller.com, where I still share videos today.
In 2007 I signed a contract with AOL News as a Video Researcher and presenter. Posting on AOL Newsbloggers was an experience, however I left AOL News in 2008 to work full time at Mahalo.com. Currently I am a full time guide working within the Social Department, I help curate Mahalo by approving submissions and editing pages.
My online goal is to get less people watching traditional television and create great attractive content that will migrate the masses online. Thus, helping me pay the rent
