My 15+ years of corporate business experience in Human Resources and my personal experience as a homeowner (having bought and sold 9 primary homes and 2 vacation homes in 4 states), including relocating 4 major times, brings unique understanding to, and empathy for, the home buying and selling process for clients. As one of 4 officers of the Board of Directors, I am responsible for making sure the minutes of each BOD meeting are accurately recorded, especially motions voted upon by the board, and ensuring BOD members receive copies of the minutes for each board meeting.
I also Chair the Technology Committee and am responsible for maintaining the Chapter Website and blog, and adding technology enhancements as needed to meet the needs of our Chapter members.

I am a big proponent of using technology for home searching, communication, and during the transaction, but nothing takes the place of the face to face interaction.

As the 6th employee in this Internet marketing start-up, I was responsible for developing all Human Resources programs (including training, employment, benefits, compensation, performance management, employee relations), and developing and growing the company culture. We grew the company to 106 employees in with 3 offices in about 15 months. With the dotcom meltdown, many clients stopped advertising, and with additional VC funding, the decision was made to go Chapter 11 and sell the company. I was the last employee and closed the company in December 2001.
