My 15+ years of corporate business experience in Human Resources and my personal experience as a homeowner (having bought and sold 9 primary homes and 2 vacation homes in 4 states), including relocating 4 major times, brings unique understanding to, and empathy for, the home buying and selling process for clients. My mission is to make sure that each transaction proceeds as smoothly as possible, provide solutions to problems, and enable my clients to reach their particular real estate goals.
relocating buyers, first time buyers, residential home sales (condos, detached homes, multi-unit properties), analysis, technology, Internet, negotiations, buyer and seller education
(Privately Held; 10,001 or more employees; Real Estate industry)
2005 — Present (3 years)
I work with buyers (first time, move-up, down-sizing, especially relocations, and sellers in the greater Carlsbad area (North County San Diego - Eecinitas, Cardiff, Oceanside, San Marcos, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fee, Del Mar and La Jolla). I spend a lot of time getting to know my local communities and am always happy to answer questions about the local housing market. I am a big proponent of using technology for home searching, communication, and during the transaction, but nothing takes the place of the face to face interaction.

As the 6th employee in this Internet marketing start-up, I was responsible for developing all Human Resources programs (including training, employment, benefits, compensation, performance management, employee relations), and developing and growing the company culture. We grew the company to 106 employees in with 3 offices in about 15 months. With the dotcom meltdown, many clients stopped advertising, and with additional VC funding, the decision was made to go Chapter 11 and sell the company. I was the last employee and closed the company in December 2001.
