Over fifteen years experience in the IT industry working in administration and web development. Administration and maintenance of a wide variety of systems including: Unix, Linux, Windows and Netware. Web site development with HTML 1.0 to XHTML 1.x and CSS. Application and web site development using server-side scripting such as ColdFusion and PHP. Developed an application to create user accounts in a hybrid Active Directory and eDirectory environment utilizing information from a legacy system.
I have also continuously sought consulting jobs in the web development arena, especially as my job moved away from development actively at the school. I have been actively working in PHP, but also I have worked with ColdFusion as there are few developers in the area working with that. My last job was to convert a client's ColdFusion site to PHP for hosting limitations. I also consult with other devolopers, including the ones at the school, on occaion to try to solve issues. In the past, for the college, I have created a complete student account maintenance program in SQL and ColdFusion. I also created the initial campus phone directory and it has evolved to become the single point of entry for account maintenance for the entire campus.
