Jeff Delkin’s Experience

  • Owner, Co-Founder, President

    bambu

    (Consumer Goods industry)

    February 2000Present (9 years 6 months)

We set out to change the world by turning people on to renewable materials. We have built a growing product line of housewares and kitchen and table top products made from organically grown bamboo. Bamboo is truly a remarkable renewable resource. But bamboo is only the beginning......

  • Co-Founder

    NEST Shanghai

    (Retail industry)

    January 2008July 2008 (7 months)

We developed the concept for NEST around the idea of 'Design with a Conscience'

The ‘design with a conscience’ concept is demonstrated by both intelligent design and responsible manufacturing. Responsible manufacturing encompasses three aspects. The materials used are natural, renewable or recyclable, or the product creation process has a low impact on the environment, or there are distinct social advantages benefiting people in China.

NEST hosts the exclusive product lines from a group of young promising companies producing in China, and each in their own way, promoting a better and more humane world. The brands joining NEST offer a unique blend of contemporary product design, high quality craftsmanship, and responsible manufacturing.

  • Regional Account Director - Asia Pacific

    Ogilvy & Mather

(Public Company; 1001-5000 employees; WPP; Marketing and Advertising industry)

    March 2000December 2005 (5 years 10 months)

Management responsibilities for Coca-Cola Asia Pacific. Brands include Coke, Coke Light, Sprite, Fanta, Increased revenue three-fold and expanded brand portfolio under my watch. Led the first creative work for any Coke brand (Sprite) produced in Asia to be picked up in US and other Europe markets. Lots of wins along the way.
