Jeff Bell’s Summary

I have spent 20 years building up and turning around brands and businesses. I want to do the same for businesses in all industries and of all sizes.

At NCT Ventures, we are investing in companies which have disruptive business models. My focus is upon start-ups in the media, marketing and consumer products industries. I have a profound passion for Media and Web Analytics. Both DOmedia and Clearsaleing are exciting new companies which help CMOs gain control over their Return on Markeitng Investment (ROMI) and their media effectiveness. Embrace Pet Insurance and GotCast are using the web to serve customers in new ways in the pet health care and entertainment industries.

Being a Consultant and Board Member to start-ups has been very exciting as I renew my connection to leading edge technologies. My work with Driverside and Tangible Worldwide has kept me close to the Automotive and Creative Services categories.

At Microsoft, our actions led to the first profitable year in Xbox history. We won numerous awards for our marketing campaigns for Xbox, Gears of War, Guitar Hero 2, Halo 3, Rock Band and Grand Theft Auto IV. Most importantly, we beat Sony PS3 in every key metric -- a first for Xbox.

At Chrysler, I led the re-positioning of the Dodge brand with the "Grab Life by the Horns" and the "That Thang Gotta Hemi?" campaigns. As the GM/VP for Jeep, we turned the business into a money maker and expanded the line-up from 3 to 7 vehicles. As the leader of Chrysler and Jeep, I launched the 300, "Stow 'n Go" on all minivans, and the "Inspiration Comes Standard" brand repositioning.

At Ford, I was a member of the Ford of Europe turnaround team from 1996-2000, helping to drive profitability in the rental and fleet business, then launching operations in Central Europe, and finally leading Ford of Spain as the Managing Director to profitability for the first time in over a decade.
