Disney Dreamer's and Doer's Award (1994) -- the award is presented to acknowledge outstanding students who are making a difference. Jedidiah received the award for "not succumbing to peer pressure" and was nominated by a teacher's essay. Met guest speaker Dennis Byrd, New York Jets Defensive Lineman. My picture was featured in the Dixie County Advocate.

Selected as a "gumshoe" for the 1994 live mall game of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" In preparation for the event, students from 43 North Central Florida schools completed in a geography contest and my school's team won. I met the PBS show's host, Greg Lee, at this event and received an autographed poster from Mr. Lee. (Pretty cool, huh?)
