I had to create a new department that has to manage the servers & LAN infrastructure by defining which tools can be used at an affordable cost. Everything has been made using open source or free software. The solution has been built around an unique web interface that has to aggregate :

- Oracle / MS SQL Server probes
- Prints statistics, PCSM Accounting
- DHCP scope usages
- ..
A central server is collecting informations applying tresholds and sending alarms. Everything has been build using PHP/Apache/Mysql. Reporting & Capacity planning was a key part of this service. -
