JD (Jean-Dominique) Vandenberghe’s Summary

I have an engineer education and yet I work in the entertainment industry. I always love to work on project that mixes technical and artistic issues. That’s what DVD creation (and now HD DVD and Blu-ray) is about. I soon discovered that broadcast motion design, print design, web design offers the same challenge. On occasion, I even produced and directed TV programs (look up www.escapelab.com).
My goal, now, is to try the Escape Lab recipe, which worked in Belgium, in Los Angeles. We’ll soon find out if, through local adaptation, it works out.
You may have notice I enjoy challenges ;-).

  Jean-Christophe Deroubaix and I created Escape Lab in Brussels, Belgium early 2001. We were, then, focused on DVD authoring (design) for the movie industry. We offer, now, a wide range of post-production services (HD editing, audio recording and mixing, broadcast design, web design, print design...). In May 2007, we opened a branch office located in West Hollywood, CA and I was sent there to manage and develop it.
