Creating and implementing Library 2.0 technology concepts that have lead to increased usage and enjoyment of public libraries. MLS Library have lead to increased usage and enjoyment of public librareis. MLS Library Manager with nearly ten (10) years of progressively responsible library experience and (7) years supervisory and management experience. Experienced in technology, space needs, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Major Accomplishments:
-Passed a GO Bond by 66% to expand library services, including a new library -branch and an expansion of the main library.
-Increased library usage by 30%, one of the top libraries in its class
-Created the first Adult Literacy Program in Pinal County in ten years
-Established the first bookmobile service in Casa Grande. (Project was nominated for an Arizona Excellence in Rural Development Award 2007)
-Established the first wi-fi hotspot in the City of Casa Grande
-Expanded computer access by 70% through library grants
-Established an e-rate compliant three year technology plan
Management, technology, future of libraries, building a branch library, joint-use libraries, data migration to move to new Integrated Library System.
