J David Morris (JD) focus on $5 million EBITA plus buyouts for 2q2007 as well as raising a new hedge fund for LBOs (real estate to high tech). He is a General Partner of Red Hook Capitaland acting President of Catalina Capital Partners Inc. He has also served in leadership roles in strategy, corporate and business development for Lockheed Martin, MCI Corp., and other companies where he played key roles in the creation and development of several new ventures. JD's investment banking background as Vice President at HSBC to Managing Director of Pierce Financial Corp. has resulted in successful billion to million deals. He has also served as an industry analyst for the leading Internet research company, Jupiter Communications. JD advised clients, start-ups to Fortune 100 companies, on business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, revenue models, and future growth opportunities. He has been a speaker at various industry forums, has been quoted in numerous leading publications, such as the Wall Street Journal, and has made several appearances on CNET to CNBC.
JD been a board of advisory and board of directors to such companies as Arielway Inc., Bulwark Technologies, Counterpart Publishing, Globeam Corp., Ferro.net SA, Pierce Financial Corp., and other ventures. He received a B.A. in economics with mathematics from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and a M.S. in operations research from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
