From Tulane, I received a BS with a double major in philosophy and psychology. This shaped my interests to the theoretical aspects of cognition and consciousness, but with a philosophical perspective towards the more fundamental issues. In addition to relevant graduate psychology courses, I've continued working primarily within philosophy and am now moving towards achieving my PhD at the University of Wisconsin — Madison. With an eye towards the sociological, anthropological, psychological, neurobiological, and, of course, philosophical issues that arise out of the study of cognition, I'm currently taking care of some remaining coursework requirements before I begin to really focus on developing my dissertation.
Areas of Specialty include Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Cognitive Science, and Logic. Areas of Competence include Philosophy of Science, Metaphysics, and Epistemology.
