The Stupski Foundation is a private, operating foundation in San Francisco whose mission is to improve life options for children of color and poverty. The foundation does so by helping education leaders accelerate academic achievement so that all students graduate with the knowledge, skills, and aspirations that will enable them to thrive in college, career and life.
The foundation's goal is to develop and implement the instructional components and system metrics — the Learning System — needed to deliver 21st century college readiness by fostering collaborative cross-sector research and development (R&D) and the capacity for innovation in public school districts.
We are working closely with federal, state, and industry partners to introduce an R&D capacity to achieve systemic transformation across the U.S. education system. Let me know if you'd like to help.

Consulting for the public sector is back in vogue, as “whole-of-government” solutions to citizen needs are increasingly valued above agency position or budget envy. We have witnessed fits and starts in providing “citizen-centric government services,” and “e-government solutions.” While noble starts, there remain systemic problems – from national security to disaster relief – that leave the citizen wondering when they will earn a competent government. Individual excellence fails to overcome a sclerotic system. The problems are not with any human or agency – they are systemic and due to a functionally-based system unable to effectively adapt to cross-Agency challenges. We are uniquely positioned based to understand the underlying issues and to help our clients understand how to work effectively across their organization and across Agencies to provide whole-of-government solutions to citizen needs.
