ß Responsibilities include recruiting and facilitating the process of relocating Clean Energy companies to the 5-county, Austin metro area.
ß Work closely with the City of Austin, State of Texas, Austin Energy, the Clean Energy Incubator, and local Clean Energy companies and organizations towards the goal of building and sustaining Austin’s Clean Energy industry cluster, and helping Austin, TX become the “Clean Energy Capital of the World.”
ß Travel on out-of-market trips to promote Austin, give presentations, and develop leads in the effort to find the next major Clean Energy relocation to Austin.
ß Utilize working relationships with City of Austin leadership and state government representatives and senators.
ß Facilitate key meetings for prospective Clean Energy company executives with city and state leaders, assist with city, county, and state incentive package negotiations, perform property/site selection search and analysis according to prospect site/facility requirements, and conduct site tours for prospect visits.
ß Organize, manage, and serve as the primary liaison to the Austin Chamber’s Clean Energy Council.
