EnergyScorecards is an online energy benchmarking service for people who need to make decisions about energy use in buildings, including owners, energy consultants, and utilities. EnergyScorecards uses utility bill data and some basic property information to answer questions such as: How much energy are my buildings using? How does that compare to last month or last year? How does that compare to other similar buildings? Where are the greatest energy cost reduction opportunities in my buildings?
Energy efficiency experts have shown that a typical building can save 20% or more through implementing simple and cost-effective energy savings improvements. EnergyScorecards will help measure and track efficiency gains through those improvements should building owners elect to go through such retrofit.
