Jayne E. Juvan, Esq., an attorney at Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff, LLP, has significant experience representing clients in both corporate and securities matters as well as complex business litigation. Because Ms. Juvan has an affinity for the health care industry, she has focused a significant portion of her practice on health care law and is an active and practicing member of Benesch's Health Care Group. She has substantial experience in health care regulatory compliance, such as fraud and abuse compliance and FDA regulatory compliance, and she has also represented clients in connection with health care transactions such as asset and stock transactions and joint ventures. Within the health care sector, Ms. Juvan focuses her practice around legal issues affecting the pharmaceutical sector in particular, and she also represents hospitals and health systems, physicians groups, long term care providers and ancillary service providers.
Ms. Juvan graduated from the Capital University Law School, summa cum laude, and was the Salutatorian of her graduating class. She also received a Bachelor's of Arts in Philosophy with a Minor in Pre-Law from Kent State University.
Ms. Juvan is known for being a former Editor-in-Chief of the Capital University Law Review. In addition to publishing four volumes of the Law Review, Ms. Juvan was also a founder of the Law Review's Wells Conference on Adoption Law. Currently, she is a member of the American Health Lawyer's Association, the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio.
In addition to her health care practice, Ms. Juvan also dedicates a significant amount of her time to pro bono assistance and is very active in the community. Ms. Juvan also lives an active lifestyle, runs in long-distance races, and holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
