LAMP Developer. "P" is mostly for Perl, but also sometimes PHP and more recently Python. I have really enjoyed my experience developing applications in the realm of library information systems, and I feel it's a good fit for my interests. From 2005-2007 I worked as part of the development team for the SFX OpenUrl linking server product, a mod_perl + mysql web server application. My primary responsibilities were to fix bugs, develop new features, and produce written design specifications that include detailed functionality, data elements, workflows and screen designs. As a secondary role I also support other developers in terms of collaboration tools, automating the development environment, code review and mentoring. Since mid 2007 I have been the lead developer for an unreleased web service product that is scheduled for beta release in late 2008.
