Drop out , English , 1976 — 1979
Jay’s first sip of alcohol came at age thirteen and by the age of fifteen Jay was “drinking to get drunk.” Over the next several years depression and anger landed Jay in several mental institutions. His heavy drinking continued and at the age of seventeen Jay went against the advice of family and friends and dropped out of high school.
