I have been a staff photographer at the Austin American-Statesman since 2003. Previously I was a staff photographer at the Colorado Springs Gazette and the Corpus Christi Caller-Times.

I am a three-time Cox Newspapers Photographer of the Year (2006-2008) and was twice named National Press Photographers Association Region 8 Photographer of the Year (2006 and 2007). My portfolio won a National Headliners Award in 2008. I have won awards in the Pictures of the Year International contest and numerous other awards in Texas and Colorado including Photojournalist of the Year by the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors in 2005.
