Jason Buys has more than ten years of professional experience in web development and online communications. During this time he has been directly responsible for dozens of projects ranging from small static websites to complex database-driven web applications.
As a senior developer and technical lead, Mr. Buys possesses a mastery of many different cutting-edge web technologies such as; web standards development with XHTML and CSS, dynamic site development with ASP.NET, client-side JavaScript, Flash action-scripting, and database development and integration with Microsoft SQL Server. Mr. Buys also maintains fundamental knowledge of website best practices including content and navigation structure, search engine optimization, web application security, and compliance with Section 508 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
While not working on client projects Mr. Buys makes a constant effort to keep up with the latest trends and emerging technologies in the field of interactive and online communications, such as blogs, podcasts, AJAX, RSS, and mobile application development.
