Currently working as a engineer at Sun Microsystems on the JavaFX & Swing teams. Working on the new JavaFX UI Controls and Graphics frameworks. Also building demos and presenting at conferences on JavaFX and Swing. As a member of the Swing Team I am also working on Swing architecture design moving forward and the Nimbus look and feel. Nimbus is a modern cross-platform look and feel based on Synth it was recently released with Java version 6u10.
Prior to working at Sun I was working on a Java photo management application called Imagery for my own company Xerto. Imagery is a powerful piece of software for helping professionals manage large digital image collections. Built in Java with support for huge collections of hundreds of thousands of images and P2P server-less replicated collaboration.
