Shmoop is an educational company focused on making learning less cumbersome and more fun for high-school and college students. Our initial product is a mix of web tools and proprietary content that goes deeper and broader into the literature and US History topics commonly covered in late high-school and early college classes. Our content has been developed by PhD students, teachers and professors from some of the best schools in the country. It's witty, current and resonant with our users. Quite basically, we've taken the first step in making learning more of the 'kick ass' experience it should be rather than it being a complete drag.
