Wrote interaction design guidelines for suite of reusable components used in over 50 Cisco products and applications. Created complete Omnigraffle stencil toolkit used by interaction designers throughout Cisco for the creation of high fidelity wireframes that accurately convey the Cisco User Experience Standards our team published.

Developed a system for reusable promotional "Feature Cue" units: targeted, contextual, and relevant DHTML overlay used to promote new or improved Yahoo! product features. Designed and built an asset management system with over 100 internal users. Strategy, interaction design and web development for a microsite supporting Yahoo! Toolbar engagement marketing. User research and prototyping to explore techniques for more effective promotion of major new Yahoo! products and features. Developed Flash prototypes. Strategy and web development for Yahoo!'s New User Program. Visual design for Yahoo! Small Business landing page. Strategy and web development for multiple landing page projects, contributing to the Platform UED landing page guidelines. Live testing (A/B and other methodologies) has demonstrated a large reproducible lift in conversion when these guidelines are adhered to.

Adapted the Seagate.com information architecture to create a scalable content framework for the purpose of publishing feature marketing content. Created a sitemap showing how feature marketing content would be integrated into Seagate.com. Created a series of wireframes used to solicit stakeholder feedback and as a reference for implementation efforts.

Working from sketches provided by the Creative Director, created multiple iterations of wireframes used for soliciting stakeholder feedback and refining the site design. Created wireframes that express the visual hierarchy and organization of navigation and content within each of the sites' page types. Prototyped the interaction design for search flows within the site for use in usability tests. Created redlines that document the visual design to assist developers in their goal of achieving a visually consistent implementation.

Created multiple mocks for exploration of potential visual design direction for Citrix desktop sidebar applications. Created the final production visual design for a desktop sidebar application that surfaces the most important information, resources and tools necessary for working through an emergency. Created the visual design for the web-based emergency management application that allowed for the administration of resources associated with emergency scenarios.

Created a site architecture that optimizes navigation. Created a structured vocabulary that will allow new content to be reused throughout the site. Collaborated with the UED team to establish, evolve, and adhere to design patterns that will be reused throughout the company. Extended the in-house content management system to make use of the structured vocabulary. Built the component templates used in the website redesign. Organized and contributed to the redesign implementation effort. Designed, implemented and maintained a variety of intranet Web sites and tools, including the Office of the President intranet site, a graphical reporting tool, and RSS news feeds and archives.

Created a site architecture that reflected the needs of the user segments that use the De Anza College website. Designed global navigation and created audience specific landing pages. Established guidelines and processes for the web team. Created reusable templates that allowed non-technical authors to publish content that complies with design and accessibility requirements. Improved website reliability and testing capability by separating development and production web server environments and implementing consistent push procedures. Deployed an email server, web based mailing list manager, online discussion forums and a search engine. Coordinated usability testing of redesigned De Anza College website.
