Freelance Creative Artworker with over 20 years of experience.
Reading, United Kingdom
Hi, my name’s Jason Hull and I’m a freelance creative artworker based in Bracknell and working across the counties of Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey.
I have twenty years of industry experience garnered both here in the UK and overseas in such locales as Sydney and Dubai. During this time I have worked within press houses and design agencies which has given me an in depth understanding of the entire design and print process from concept to delivery.
With a fully-equipped home-based office and a commanding knowledge of all the major applications such as QuarkXpress, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator I offer both the ability to work on and off-site to meet all your design and artwork requirements, from logo designs and stationery through to content managed websites and corporate identities.
Maybe you just need someone to cover staff on holiday, sick or maternity leave for which I pride myself on my diligence and the dedication I will bring to your projects.
Please take the time to peruse the examples of my work that can be found on my website and please feel free to use the enquiry form or telephone number to contact me if you have any questions or enquiries that you would like to put to me.

2005 — 2008 (3 years )
I returned to the UK to become part of an experienced creative team at The Escape.
As Creative Artworker, I assisted in the design and production of artwork for use in all forms of web and print media. This was achieved through a comprehensive use and understanding of Quark XPress and Adobe’s Creative Suite all running on Apple’s very latest operating system 10.5. My responsibilities besides design and artwork also include the day to day file management around the office including back-ups and archiving as well as all I.T. duties involving both the Mac and PC servers and desktops.

Moved to Dubai to assist in the launching of a True Colours International office within the Middle East. My role was of production management within the studio as well as individual account managing and ‘hands-on’ web and print design.
I continue to use Quark XPress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop but have also incorporated within my application knowledge base the Macromedia Studio range of Dreamweaver MX, Flash MX and Fireworks MX using Apple’s latest operating system OSX.
(Printing industry)
1998 — 2002 (4 years )
Originally trained to create 35mm slides for corporate presentations I moved onto creating artwork on an Apple Mac. This involved extensive use of Quark XPress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop plus high resolution scanning on a AGFA Selectscan Plus.
Promoted to Studio Manager my job was to oversee the production of jobs from inset to completion. This involved coordinating all staff throughout the Design Studio, Reprographic Department, Machine Room and Finishing Department.
Throughout this time I continued to use the Apple Macs and all the most up to date versions of Quark XPress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The job also involved maintenance of the computer network and systems which consisted of three Windows NT Fileservers, seven Apple Macs and eleven PC’s.
