The Ohio Liberty Council was initiated by members of local Tea Party groups, 912 groups, the Ohio Freedom Alliance, and the Campaign for Liberty in June 09. It was conceived as a way to get all liberty minded groups and individuals in Ohio connected and communicating on issues and activities. But more importantly we seek to create concerted action among all of these groups in Ohio. By working together we can be more successful and achieve real results to protect and promote liberty in Ohio.

The Ohio Freedom Alliance has been in existence since March of 2008. We are a non-partisan political organization dedicated to education and action at the grassroots level in the state of Ohio. Our actions and agenda is founded in the following principles:

Our rights are granted to us by our Creator and are therefore and integral part of our humanity. Any attempt by any individual or group of individuals to take away these rights is immoral and contrary to the laws of nature.

It is only in an environment of freedom that man is capable of achieving his full potential. A society that maximizes freedom will also maximize prosperity, peace and justice.
Voluntary action is ethical and it is the growing state that is the negation of freedom and liberty.
We seek to put these principles into action through the following means:

To EDUCATE: The Ohio Freedom Alliance is dedicated to educating citizens on the principles of true freedom.
To ACTIVATE: The Ohio Freedom Alliance is committed to getting the grassroots organized and active in the fight for liberty.
To DELEGATE: The Ohio Freedom Alliance is actively working with our representatives in the Ohio Statehouse to introduce legislation that promotes liberty, and organizing a grassroots lobbying force to promote that legislation. In particular we focus on legislation that promotes decision making at the state and local level, such as state sovereignty legislation.

The Columbus Ron Paul 2008 Meetup group was created in May of 2007, in order to help Ron Paul restore our country to the Constitutional Republic that the founders envisioned; and to restore our individual freedoms that have been eroded by politicians of both parties. Although Dr. Paul is running as a Republican, our group welcomes patriots of every political stripe who long for liberty, peace, and responsible government.

As a Teaching Pastor for 2.5 years, my initial responsibilities included establishing the vision, mission statement, and discipleship structure of the church. Along with my co-Pastor, I taught numerous message series’ on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evening gatherings.

When our Youth Pastor/Worship Leader moved out-of-state, I expanded my area of ministry to include leading worship, and I assumed the responsibility of Youth Pastor in 2005. During this time, we continued a youth-oriented bible study and outreach at a local skate park for a short time. Then, in the summer of 2005, my wife and I led a group of 14 students to New York Gospel Outreach, a week-long evangelism and training experience.

As Worship Leader, I assembled and led a worship team for Sunday morning worship services.
