While an undergraduate student at Saint Louis University, Jason Grill was afforded the opportunity to study International Economics in Rome, Italy through a partnership with Loyola University Chicago. During his time abroad, Jason studied international economics in Italy and traveled throughout Europe, which helped Jason better understand the global economy and how different types of people interact on a day to day basis in a global marketplace. While keeping himself busy with his studies, Jason Grill interned at The White House in the Office of the Vice President (Al Gore). While at the White House, Jason operated in the capacity as an assistant to the Vice President's Senior Advisor for Urban Redevelopment and Economic Policy, Mr. Alvin Brown. Jason’s experiences and participation in the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles in summer 2000 inspired Jason to think about giving back to the state and community through public service.
Jason Grill graduated from Saint Louis University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Economics. After this experience he began to migrate back towards Kansas City, when he enrolled at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. Jason went back to Washington, D.C. while in law school to intern in CNN’s Washington, D.C. Bureau as the top assistant to Senior Political and Economic Correspondent Brooks Jackson. During his last semester at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, Jason Grill interned at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City, gaining hands-on experience on the important issues facing Missouri and a ringside seat to the day to day routine of a Missouri Legislator. Jason graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law on May 15, 2004.
