I am a Solution Architect with over 12 years of software/product/project management, design and implementation experience.
My career has focused on complex financial systems such as underwriting, actuary and corporate tax systems. I am currently employed with Unum, a Fortune 500 firm.
I've led several extremely large software projects that have all ended in great success. This success is thanks to the great teams I've had the privilege to lead.
Customer focus, business acumen, OOAD/SOA/n-tier software architecture, .Net 2.0 & 3.5, leadership and a passion for my trade.

August 2006 — April 2007 (9 months)
ATX II was acquired by CCH Incorporated. I managed the Enterprise Services Team. I designed and help implement a Trust Tax Compliance system for the Big 4 Auditors and large banks. This system was implemented with C# .Net 2005, Oracle 9i, XML Web Services, and Smart Client technology. I'm very proud of my team for delivering a high quality, high performance system that users love and "just works". It was (and still is) a huge success.

ATX Forms, Inc was acquired by UCG and renamed to ATX II, LLC. I lead the team that designed and maintained internal homegrown enterprise systems. The systems were ERP, CRM, Workflow and SDLC support applications. This team also provided public access to our CRM system for customer service and shopping cart features. C#, ASP.Net XML Web Services, SQL Server 2000, VB6 and Lotus Notes Databases.

September 1996 — June 2002 (5 years 10 months)
These were the early days of my career and I held many positions. One of my first projects right out of college was to lead, design and maintain a new tax software product called HotForms. The next big project was a new CRM system written in VB6 and SQL Server 7. I helped maintain this project throughout my 10+ year tenure with ATX. These early years set me up to be a leader, mentor and software architect. They gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of great people. I’m also proud to be a key player in building a multi-million dollar company that ranked in Inc Magazine's Top 500 fastest growing companies 5 years consecutively.
