Credentials:
I hold an M.S. in Project Management from Boston University and a B.A. in Marketing from the University of South Florida. I have been certified through the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP) since January 2001.
Career Summary:
I currently co-own and operate a specialty bicycle retail operation in downtown Tampa, FL known as City Bike Tampa (citybiketampa.com). Prior to opening City Bike, I spent six years with a PACS industry firm known as Emageon. Emageon (now Amicas) is a major software and solution provider in the digital medical image management marketspace. Prior to joining Emageon in 2003, I had served in a similar capacity for insurance and healthcare network services provider, IVANS, which I joined in 1999. My technology implementation career started in 1997 with the First Union National Bank (now Wachovia) Y2K readiness initiative (budgeted at USD $1.75MM) which I managed while employed with Wang Global.
I would be described as an experienced professional with broad competency and advanced knowledge in operational management principles. I possess top-notch analytical and problem-solving prowess, as well as excellent communications skills. I am experienced in business process management and have a solid understanding of enterprise architecture with a customer service and vendor management background which provides me with the solid perspective needed for effective strategic planning and excellent execution abilities.
