Jason is known by his peers as an exceptionally creative problem solver with a tireless work ethic. His passion for technology, innovation, and market disruption is met with a pragmatic approach to building great products and successful companies.
Jason's current passion is SwitchGames: The Gamers Marketplace, which is a unique social commerce platform that intelligently connects gamers with one another to trade, buy, and sell games, consoles, and accessories. Trading is free with optional premium services that make transactions safer, faster and easier. SwitchGames is empowering gamers to take market control while establishing a pipeline into the secondary game market for game publishers and developers.
Prior to SwitchGames Jason co-founded NYC video game developer Brooklyn Games with industry veteran and ex-Microsoft Games executive Robert Lindsley. Since 2003, the company has provided casual game development and virtual world consulting services to its clients, which include Hasbro, Sony, MGM Interactive, Atari, Sesame Workshop, Mad Catz, IAC, and Acclaim.
In 1999 Jason founded Fuzzcode, which is best known for launching a turnkey business management system for online merchants called BackFlip. BackFlip allows retailers to easily manage all aspects of their business. For an equity stake in entrepreneur Russell Simmons' PhatFarm.com, BackFlip became the backbone of the online venture with Fuzzcode also developing all aspects of the business including innovative inventory/warehouse management tools. In 2003, Fuzzcode sold its interest in PhatFarm.com to fashion holdings company Kellwood (NYSE: KWD).
In addition to leading his indie rock band Grey Does Matter, Jason is also an accomplished freelance music composer. His music can be heard in national television ads, TV shows, AAA video games, and in various interactive products. Clients include: KPMG, Cadbury, Unilever, W Hotels, Fox TV, MTV, Sirius Satellite Radio, Casio, and 2K Games.
