I have experience with a variety of new media tools including HTML/CSS, blogging platforms, Twitter, social bookmarking, map creation, photography, and video editing. I have worked closely with CollegePublisher, an online platform for college newspapers. I also have a mastery of Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop and Quark Express; experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premier Elements; and the ability to teach myself new computer programs.

    -In-depth project in spring 2009 on gender at Whitworth involving interviewing nearly 60 people and doing writing, video, databases, graphics, coding and some of the photo work for the project.
