Social Media Marketing Specialist at Microsoft
Twickenham, United Kingdom
I began my I.T. career working as a Systems Engineer, specialising in various desktop and server technologies. I then moved into the world of I.T. Service Delivery, helping corporate business to transform their I.T. from a support partner, to a true business partner. I have worked all over Europe and love working with culturally diverse teams.
In January 2007, I started a blog, (http://www.thewebpitch.com) looking at how small businesses are using Web 2.0 technologies as marketing tools. The blog is a personal passion and has opened my mind at how disruptive technologies are changing the way we interact with customers online. Behind my suit, you'll find a geek who is passionate about people and obsessed with technology. I position myself strictly in between the technical and the business world. Thus, I'm happy conversing with technical engineers, whilst equally at home presenting to business leaders. I have a Bachelors degree in Information Systems and graduated with an MBA from London's Brunel University in 2007.
GOAL:
Looking to further my career and combine business and technical experience. Thus, moving to a fresh challenging role, with a particular emphasis on relationship management within a dynamic and global corporate.
STYLE:
I have a friendly and collaborative working style. I work equally well individually, or as part of a team. I possess very strong interpersonal skills and an excellent working relationship with peers and colleagues. I am driven by and committed to the highest levels of professionalism and providing a world class service.
