Jared Quinn’s Summary

I'm a Web and UNIX Guru who has over 12 years experience in IT.. with a focus on Internet related services for my entire career!

I am passionate about Technology, and in particular Open Source software - having started using Linux way back in '94 and now days use it exclusively across my home network.

My career has been a flip flop between UNIX and Web Development but really I don't see them as much different. It's all about building something functional from small interacting blocks.

Hilights of my career include:

• Web Developer - taste.com.au (Australia's #1 food & recipe website)
• Web Developer - Collections Australia Network
• Unix Systems Administrator - Newcastle University

There's plenty more in my resume... Take a look.
