Cross-cultural information architect and user experience designer
Panama
I’m an information architect and user experience designer based in Central America. I founded BootStudio, one of the first web consultancies in this part of the world. I have experience managing web teams and designing sites and applications in the telecommunications and financial services industries, among others.
I'm also an active member of the global IA/UX community, and have served as a director and as president of the Information Architecture Institute and as managing editor of Boxes and Arrows magazine.
As a designer, I aim to produce artifacts that help people understand and interact with their world more effectively. My modus operandi is strongly influenced by my training in architecture, which I am passionate about.
