Jan Wencel is on a mission to give hope and to impart new thinking to as many of these discouraged people as she can.

Jan has a passion to help professionals live the life they always wanted: attentive to their responsibilities, balanced between work and play, and connected to the moment.

She started her career in the corporate world, spending 12 years in advertising agencies. In 2002 she took a year-long travel sabbatical. Then she indulged her life-long passion for organizing by forming Life Contained, Inc and becoming a Certified Professional Organizer.

Jan is a certified GO System trainer & a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO). She is an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), the premier association dedicated to the field of organizing, to stay abreast of & to help construct the latest industry trends. To continually improve how she teaches adults, she is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and participates in National Speakers Association (NSA) training programs. She studies innovative methodologies, seeks out certifications in new areas, & sharpens her skills through training & networking with other productivity specialists. She is a member of the Network for Productivity Excellence where she helps develop quality standards for the productivity profession & co-authored a book, Insights on Productivity.
