I'm the author of the downhome family love story beyond death "Sightlines: A Poet's Diary" told in story poems.
I've produced and recorded "Sightlines: A Family Love Story in Poetry and Music" of 90 poems and 40 songs...plus stories and banter in the music session in my father's parlor.
I give talks woven around my poems with musical interludes. I'm a Woman of Letters--an award-winning author and blogger who reviews books, movies, plays and contributes to a sustainable and nurturirng culture.

The educational philosphy was "push." Do all you can in the shortest possible time. I am heartbroken that the school decided to change it's name from California College of Arts and Crafts to California College of the Arts. I feel they lost an important part of their history and an important part of what made the school unique.
