I've been slinging words around for a good 13 years. Now I sling Creative Direction around as well. Most recently, I was raising interactive brand babies for Dell, and nurturing creative strategy for a number of clients at POKE New York. Now I'm wrangling creative tots for anyone who needs me.

Who am I?
I’ve been a writer of articles, a writer of content, a writer of copy, a writer of strategy. And all through that, a dreamer. I’ve been a dreamer through concept, through writing, through strategy and through brands.
I’ve been a hand holder - of clients, of Art Directors and Copywriters. I’ve been a pitch dancer and prancer and loved every minute of it, even the pain that sometimes hits the arch of the foot just before pitch day.
I’ve had a few labels. Labels that people like to hear so they can work out where I fit. But here’s my dilemma. All my labels have pretty much blended to become a new term that I’m not sure of.
I could call myself a Creative Director. I could call myself a Creative Consultant. I could say I’m a Writer. But I’m all of those things at the same time. I’m looking to inspire and be inspired. Check out my portfolio at http://janeenmccrae.com

Be a mother, mentor, confidant and partner to clients and my creative team. Create interactive work that says 'ha!' to boundaries and fights tooth-and-nail for results. Oversee the development of microsites, ads, pitch work (and pitch theater) and enjoy every minute of it. As a veteran copywriter, lead the writing department in the development of a new breed of tech-savvy, word loving, interactive heavy hitting copywriters.
Current clients: British Airways, Choice Hotels International, with occasional love and devotion shown to the best "never loses suction" brand, Dyson.
