Jamie Stephen is Managing Director of Mitig8 Specialist Risk Services Limited whose core business is the provision of reputation and resilience management services to organisations and individuals.
Jamie’s current and recent work has involved consultancy in the UK and overseas including services for the Olympic Delivery Authority in London; contingency planning in the Middle East; advising the development of intelligence operations overseas; advising multinationals on the development of IT solutions; consultancy to develop police broadband communications systems and developing risk based products for New York Stock Exchange-Euronext and other private sector clients.
Jamie completed over thirty years police experience and held a number of key high profile leadership roles in London’s Metropolitan Police Service at New Scotland Yard. His diverse breadth of senior experience ranged through leading borough operations, homicide investigations, and protective services to UK government estate and visiting diplomatic community. As a member of New Scotland Yard Specialist Operations Management Board he was involved at the heart of strategic management and led up to 800 people in times of unprecedented terrorist threat. He excelled at managing risk, crisis, business continuity, reputation and change.
Jamie is qualified in Health and Safety management (IOSH) and has been an Associate Member of the Business Continuity Institute. He has been elected as a @Fellow of The Security Institute' (FSyI) and is an active member of both the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Security and Defence Committee. He is a person of absolute integrity who has been vetted to the highest level and is currently ‘Develop Vetted’ (DV).
