Technologist, Geek Marketer, King of the Island of Misfit Toys... Ok, I build websites.

I build websites:
In order to build a great website, you need to understanding the visitor and the market. The technology comes along after that. This might sound strange coming from a technologist, but unless you know your visitors your site (content, e-commerce, social network, or otherwise) is sure to fail.
I believe that doing business online is about talking to your customers and reacting to what they have to say, but also using analytics to see what they really want.

Why you need great people:
Building a great website is about bringing together the right people, and sometimes it's about getting better technology too. But if you look at the really great sites, more often than not you'll find that their success is defined by empowering people in smart ways.
Fun is also an important element in running a successful web enterprise. Keeping the mood light and understanding that there is always room for improvement is key to building a strong and cohesive team. Without fun, it's hard to keep those great people around.
I've been lucky enough to work with some really wonderful people over the years. Together, we've done some amazing things.
Feel free to drop me a line. I always like hearing from people excited about building that next great site... jamiegrove [at] gmail [dot] com
