James Thornton began developing Internet applications at the dawn of the commercial Internet in 1994, and he founded Electric Speed in 1999.
In 2003, James cofounded the Colorado Federal Savings Bank (Cofedbank) Internet division, where he served as the Director of Development through January 2008. Cofedbank is a nationwide mortgage lender, and the online division originates loans in all 50 states. He developed the national Internet-marketing strategy for the online division and the bank's 30-plus branches, led the website development, and managed the sales team.
Electric Speed is an Internet business consulting firm that specializes in Internet marketing and lead generation for lenders and Realtors.
James graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Management Information Systems and continued his education there for one year of post-baccalaureate studies in Computer Science.
