Managing Editor, The Atlantic Council
Washington D.C. Metro Area
I have been Managing Editor of the Atlantic Council of the United States since September 2007. I'll be overseeing the revamping of their online presence including establishing and then running two blogs for a well respected think tank.
I founded outsidethebeltway.com in January 2003 and have built it into one of the most respected right-of-center weblogs. More recently, I have expanded the OTB Media brand to include sports, pop culture, food, wine, and travel blogs.
I've written dozens of articles for publications including Tech Central Station, TCS Daily, Reason, Legal Affairs, Human Events, The New Individualist, and The Washington Examiner.
I have a PhD in political science and taught at the university level for nine years, was Managing Editor of Strategic Insights, and am a combat veteran of Desert Storm.
