After starting my technology career in the trenches of software development on multiple platforms, I moved into project management. A few years of project management helped to shape my career path into that of entrepreneurship, which has long been a personal goal of mine.
My experience includes software design/architecture & development, line management, project management and business analysis. I have thoroughly enjoyed and learned much from my involvement in each of those areas.
I am open to discussing new ideas, ventures or proposals. Feel free to contact me!

The current focus of Tecagora Solutions is to improve the standards of consumer digital photography tools.
With the release of Snapact, our photo sharing social network and its complementary client software tool, Snapact Photo Manager, Tecagora Solutions has made its initial mark in the sand. We plan to continue improving the platform by introducing new features and software yet keeping the entire Snapact photo solution easy to use.
My role includes responsibility for the Snapact photo sharing social network website and client-server APIs. This requires designing and implementing the necessary server infrastructure to support and scale our Snapact web properties.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

I managed projects from a project management perspective but was encouraged to maintain my software development mind while in this role. It proved beneficial to be able to provide technical advice to the project team.
Managing in-house personnel as well as out-sourced teams was standard practice. Apart from producing new and updated products, localizing products and websites was also an occasional part of my responsibilities.

I worked with a small development team to bring an upstart and (relatively) new product to the masses: McAfee AntiSpyware. The technology developed has since consolidated into other McAfee products.
My three colleagues were very capable individuals, and I believe that we formed an excellent team. We obviously worked closely with product and project management as well as QA. It was an excellent opportunity to work in another sector of the computing industry - rewarding in that it was a fun and educational experience.

As a lead at ACD Systems, I managed a small but agile team of developers. We worked on various components of ACDSee in addition to creating and updating other minor products and web properties.

As a developer at ACD Systems, I worked within a few different teams. Project work included instant messaging client/server architecture as well as consumer digital photography products, primarily ACDSee.

My responsibilities at NetActive included removing copy protection from games and applications. After removing the software protection we would use internal tools on the product, giving it our own copy protection which allowed a limited trial. We would then repackage the software using industry-standard installation tools for CD or internet distribution.
