As a Network Security Expert and Overall IT Generalist, Jake has implemented ground up IT infrastructure all the way from the blueprints of building and communications for NOC layouts to end users via LAN, Server and Desktop implementations. His end to end experience truly puts Jake in a position to conceptualize a Global and complete IT solution.
Jake has gained experience as Deputy Director of Information Technology for Mayor Bloomberg’s Office in New York City, and received an award from outgoing Mayor Giuliani for his efforts during the 9/11 disaster and subsequent recovery.
Currently Jake has added to his expertise protocol level analysis and product line support through his current position within Nokia.
In his curent function, his experience with network program developers has put him in an excellent position where he is able to understand end user problems, analyze data and replicate problem conditions for delivery to development further analysis.
In addition to this, Jake has built entire campus networks for a few Fortune 500 companies within the private sector as well as stabilized, built upon and maintained government networking infrastructure for FDNY 911 Starfire System, NYC Emergency Medical Response Computer Aided Dispatch and the New York City Office of the Mayor for Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data) solution.
