President and Principal Engineer: Designed, programmed, and marketed an Internet browser created for children. The product generates revenue from online sales, physical packaged media sold in stores located in 7 states, and royalties from 3rd party companies who bundle the software within their products. Handled everything from the website creation and maintenance (www.mykidsbrowser.com), sales, anti-piracy effort, automatic software updates, marketing, financial accounting, etc.
The client side software for My Kids Browser is written in C# (.NET 2.0) while the mykidsbrowser.com website is written in PHP and MySQL.

• Acted as Project lead in designing and developing a central authentication service utilized by the entire company’s product-line and utilized by Omniture’s acquisitions. This service consisted of a web layer, a SOAP layer, LDAP business logic, and an LDAP user store.
• Was an active participant in the creation of a single-sign-on solution that works with all of the Omniture products, and also works with third-party customer custom applications.
• Developed in php using Eclipse on Omniture’s flagship product, SiteCatalyst.

• Lead a team of 10 engineers dedicated to automating and testing ZENworks, Novell’s top revenue generating configuration management product.
• Wrote an automation suite in C# and python that would re-image a set of machines, install our product, and run a set of smoke tests to make sure that our weekly build was in a state that our QA engineers could run their validation tests. The entire test group and several developers use this program regularly.
• Participated in the open source community by creating a dynamic test harness that would automatically test the validity of mof files submitted by open source contributors.
• Wrote a CIM provider in C++ that will do a self-check of the state of the CIMOM running on a Linux system. This provider is now found on distributions on Linux that include OpenWBEM (such as SUSE Linux Open Enterprise System 2).
• Wrote several automation scripts in C#, python, PERL, TSL, and C++ for the purpose of simplifying the current test process.
