I've been involved with Web since the early 1990s, when I launched my first web portal that offered web services for a niche segment. I developed that portal into a 43,000 member strong community (back in 1996) and provided email services, online streaming media, file storage and 'community discussion'. The portal's mail services were offered by my partner firm at that time, Outblaze, now IBM (2009). The portal was featured in various magazines and TV shows.
My first experience with online media was back in 1987 with BBS systems (PCBoard, WildCat, FIDONET).

Along with web, my other passion is my co-founded non-for-profit charity project, Our Foundation, with the deeply held and shared belief that we all are capable of giving back to our communities, not only financially, but also through our time and talents.
