Originally contracted in April 2004 to take over the design and maintenance of the library website from its current designer, who was not meeting the library's needs. As of July 1, 2006 this became half of a permanent, full time position.
The other half of this full-time job is Network Administration. Originally contracted to rescue the Public Internet machines from the grips of spyware, my responsibilities expanded until I had taken over maintenance of the entire network. I have received my CompTIA A+, CIW Associate, and CompTIA Network+ certifications during the course of this job.
