Director of New York's IN3.ORG, the International Informatics Institute, a center for research and education in technology, business and society founded in 1982. An experienced business educator and the author of six books and numerous research articles on technology management and strategy, Jack edits the Institute's web journal, conducts executive education programs around the world and appears in IN3.ORG webcast seminars. Jack serves on several education advisory boards in the public sector.

An all-volunteer group of graphics industry executives, practitioners, vendors, educators, association leaders and analysts dedicated to helping teachers teach and students learn about the fieldof graphic communications. Affiliated with the NYC Dept of Education, we run two Graphics Teachers Technology Conferences each year, organize a New York city-wide graphic arts competition in association with City University of New York, and support a scholarship fund, the Graphic Communications Scholarship Foundation. The International Informatics Institute (IN3.ORG) is a technology research and consulting organization in Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 1982 as the Interactive Features Graphics Research Lab by director Jack Powers, the firm’s research associates consult with users, developers and investors concerning information and communications technologies, medical informatics and emerging technology development. Hundreds of speakers, tens of thousands of conference attendees, million dollar exhibits and terrifically smart and engaged people. What a great time to be alive!
