2008 - Completed Immediate Services Program (ISP) and Regular Services Program Training (RSP) which was funded by (FEMA) under the authority of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief Act to assist storm victims in their recovery process.

1995 - Juvenile Justice Summit Delegate (OJDDA) – I was one of thirteen Washington County Delegates and active participant for Oregon’s first Juvenile Justice Summit which revised and reorganized the State’s Juvenile Justice System. The bill was crafted from our recommendations and was signed into law on June 30, 1995, by Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber.
1994 - Oregon State Penitentiary – In coordination with Washington County Juvenile Justice, I would take court ordered, gang involved, and at-risk youths into the Oregon State Penitentiary once a month (on a nine month basis) to participate in the Los Hermanos Crime Prevention Program.
1993 - Grant Writer – Attended meetings and workshops to write and formulate the budget for the first initial Community Development Block Grant application for La Casa del Futuro. The Washington County Office of Community Development awarded start-up funds in the amount of $102,272 along with $58,000 from the Edward Brynes Memorial Foundation.
1993 - La Casa del Futuro, Inc. (House of the Future) – Co-founder of a residential outreach program for at-risk and gang involved youths. Created a non-profit organization from the ground up which included forming a steering committee, preparation of a mission statement, developing by-laws, and generated community support.
